Todays morning trip was very productive catching lots of bluefish on baits and jigs . I covered a lot of known grounds for bass but the bass were not hitting on bait nor on the Troll this morning!!

Yesterday's morning bite on 4/29/2015 was very slow,but as the outgoing tide began to go out the action began!! We caught 8 keepers all between 15-25 lbs class mostly on the troll. Very good action as the bite will only get better!! Book your trips now!

Saturdays catch 4/18/2015 on board "Reel Happy N J Charters was very productive day landing 12 Stripers,but no keepers all shorts .The water tempertures was 55 degrees this weekend. The fishing will improve as the water gets warmer!! Hurry up and book your trips now!!

The first striper fishing trip out in the Raritan Bay this weekend had a slow bite, But managed to land a few throwbacks. The water was 47 degrees in the areas we fished in the shallow waters. The bite should start soon once the water gets warmer this coming week!!
