We had a nice group of guys who had a great time. They picked away at some nice sized Sea Bass today. This morning was a bit slow,but as the wind slowed down the action continued with some nice fish.

update: Reel Happy Fishing Charters was out today in Raritan Bay. She's running like a fined tuned watch and to mention today's crew caught 2 striped bass. Late afternoon wind started blowing so we had to call it a day with just 2 keepers. Get those trips booked, it's gonna be a great season.

We are currently taking reservations now for Striped Bass and Tautog fishing . We are still waiting for the Spring Striped Bass run to break out wide open with the hot bite! Lets be ready for that hot bite and book your trips in advance. They have started to catch some Striped Bass now , but mostly schoolies and a few keepers in between on the clam bite. Thats what we used (clams) early in the season and we chuck away with some clam belly to bring these fish to a bite. These fish will become more active in feeding as the waters warms up.

We are currently taking reservations for 2017 season. We were going to be on the water the first week in April,but do to the weather forecast with all the rain coming this week it's going to set us back another week. I will keep everyone posted when she will be in her slip and ready to fish.  I also have to do some preventive maintenance and will be installing the state of the art  Garmin electronics, equipment and Radar unit on the vessel. 

I will also start running open boat trips when I don't have booked charters, so  check out my posting on Facebook or website for more information.
